“Healing means accepting all parts of ourselves, not just the parts we like, but all of us.”
I bring a deep understanding of the mind-body connection to my work as a psychotherapist, combining the latest insights from neuroscience with the transformative power of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma healing. Our nervous systems hold the imprints of our past, shaping the way we think, feel, and relate to the world. By working with both the brain and the heart, I help clients move from survival patterns into a place of greater balance, resilience, and self-leadership.
In therapy, I create a safe, compassionate space where all parts of you are welcome. Together, we explore how your nervous system has adapted to life’s challenges, gently unwinding old patterns while strengthening your capacity for connection and healing. Using IFS, we build a relationship with the different parts of you—those that protect, those that carry wounds, and the innate Self that holds the wisdom for healing.
Healing isn’t just about understanding your past—it’s about reshaping your brain and body’s response to the present. Whether you're working through trauma, anxiety, or patterns that no longer serve you, I offer an approach that is evidence-based, holistic, and deeply attuned to your unique journey.
With 15 years experience as a Registered Psychotherapist and Canadian Certified Counselor, I have worked in a variety of community settings, including mental health institutions and substance use recovery programs. Since opening my private practice in 2015, I have been honoured to witness the pain, strength, resiliency, and healing of the many who are on this journey of growth and self discovery.
My approach to therapy is tailored to the unique needs of each individual who steps foot in my office. There are a multitude of reasons for seeking therapy- and we spend time understanding and gaining clarity around what it is you are hoping for. I draw from a number of therapeutic models and theories, including Polyvagal theory, Attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based approaches, IFS, and relational models.
I believe that healing happens in connection- with ourselves and with others. If you’re looking for support on your journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. If you have questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please reach out.
